What are the ingredients in Veggie Wash?

In the Original Formula the ingredients are:
Water, Potassium Oleate, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Limonene (Natural Citrus Oil), Organic Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Potassium Sorbate.

In the Organic Formula the ingredients are:
Water, Organic Alcohol, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Glycerin, Organic Lemon Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide* (for saponification), Citrus Acid. *Potassium Hydroxide is a processing agent, used to turn oils into soap, and is not present in the finished product. Organic ingredients are certified to USDA NOP Standards.

Is Veggie Wash cruelty-free?

Yes. We have never, nor will ever, test on animals. We are a cruelty-free company and none of our products contain any animal products or byproducts.

Is Veggie Wash Kosher?

Veggie Wash has been Certified Kosher by the Chicago Rabbinical Council. Veggie Wash Organic is not Certified Kosher

Is Veggie Wash gluten-free?

Yes, Veggie Wash is gluten-free.

Can Organic Veggie Wash only be used on Organic produce?

No, Veggie Wash Organic is made with Organic ingredients but can be used on both Organic and regular produce.

Is Veggie Wash antibacterial?

No, Veggie Wash is designed to break down and remove waxes on produce that trap dirt, pesticides, etc., and is not intended for use as a disinfectant.

What is the shelf life?

Although Veggie Wash does not expire, we recommend using within 3 years to guarantee effectiveness.

How do I know how old it is?

The 5-6 digit lot code stamped on the bottle in black ink will help determine when the product was made. When reading the code, the first two numbers represent the year, while the last three numbers represent the day of the year. For example, a bottle with the code 19025 or 19025B was produced on the 25th day of 2019.

What is the difference between the Organic & Natural Veggie Wash?

These products are made with different formulas and have different ingredients. Our Organic Veggie Wash is made with Certified Organic ingredients. While our Natural Veggie Wash is made with natural ingredients, they are not all Certified Organic.

No, we only use plant-derived glycerin in our products.

No, Veggie Wash is a ready to use product and is not available in concentrated form.
